Crunch Live: Fat Burning Pilates Extreme Online Workout

I have always been one that enjoys exercising in the comfort of my own home, and I was eager to give Crunch Live a try. As a mom, it has always been important to me to stay active and fit while being home to raise my three children, and of course, exercise videos allow me to do just that. It is so important to be an example to your children and share the importance of daily exercise. I enjoy trying various workouts, and with Crunch Live I have a selection of over 35 various workouts to choose from: yoga, pilates, kick butt cardio, hip-hop, strength training, and more. (new workouts are added seasonally) Crunch Live makes it so easy to access the videos from your phone, iPad, laptop, desktop, or smart TV via mobile site. You can take your workout with you wherever you go.

You can try it out for free for three days, and then if you like it, you can sign up for $9.99/month or $90/year. Once you login, you can make your selection and even save your favorites for easy access.  Today I decided to try the Fat Burning Pilates Extreme video with instructor Michelle Williams. The total running time is 30 minutes, and the workout is broken up into two parts: 15 minutes of standing cardio pilates work and 15 minutes of floor pilates work. Overall, I really enjoyed the workout. The instructor was fun and easy to follow, so you didn't feel like you had to stop and try to catch up. She was good about informing you when a new move was coming up and would give advance warning when you were about to move left or right. There were two other instructors offering modifications to make the exercises easier or more challenging based on your fitness level. The only thing I would have liked to have seen more of was instruction on proper form when performing the different exercises. I felt that the 30 minutes was just long enough to feel like you got a workout in, and if you wanted more, you could always repeat it for a 60 minute workout.
